  1. Marko says:

This program does not work under 64bits Windows 7. It reports Can not find recorder.

  2. Jim (JR) says:

The culprit for this issue – cannot find recorder – is the AHCI interface used in most modern computers. Many of the CD-burn drivers used by these software packages have not been updated to support the newer AHCI drive interface protocol.

Unfortunately, simply switching to “IDE” is not really possible, not without jumping through a number of hoops as noted on Microsoft’s web site. Failing to jump through these hoops – prior to making the switch! – will result in a system that will not boot Windows until these settings are set back to AHCI.

    What say ye?
