Photo Story is a free and compact software developed by Microsoft corporation, it allows you to create your own photo slideshow from a sequence of static photos, you can apply transition effects, add background music to the slideshow and export it to a video file in wmv format.

- Import images in the following formats: png, jpg, jpeg, jfjf, jpe, tif, tiff, psd, eps, gif, pcd, pcx, tga, bmp, dib, rle, etc.
- Rotate clockwise or counterclockwise.
- Correct contract, color levels or red eye automatically.
- Apply an effect to a specific picture: none, black and white, chalk and charcoal, colored pencil, diffuse glow, negative, outline black, outline grey, sepia, washout, water color.
- Remove black borders.
