If the hard drive on the computer is a Seagate and the external drive that we will be backing up to is a WD, which version do I download, the Seagate or the WD?

    • Jacob says:

      Hi, Brenda Plumley:
Originally, I think you should choose Seagate( DiscWizard ), but after I have downloaded and read the user manuals, it seems that you can choose any one of them.

Here are the minimum system requirements of Acronis True Image WD Edition:

      Attached Western Digital device.
CD-RW/DVD-RW drive for bootable media creation.

The recommended minimum screen resolution is 1152 x 864.

Here are the minimum system requirements of Seagate DiscWizard:

At least one Seagate Technology or Maxtor disc drive.
FDD or CD-RW drive for bootable media creation.

And you could burn the rescue image to any type of CD/DVD disc or USB drive.

My hard disk is Seagate, DiscWizard works ok on my computer, but I cannot install it in VMWare, because the virtual hard drive in VMWare is not Seagate.
