HashTab is a cool MD5/SHA1 hash generator which provides you the easiest way to calculate and verify the MD5 / SHA1 hash value of a file. It’s a good idea to check the integrity of an install bundle before you set up it.

The Microsoft Windows operating system does not come with any built in utilities to tell you the MD5 / SHA1 value of a file, HashTab resolved the problem and it will make you feel that it’s a built in function of Windows. HashTab is a free software which adds a “File Hashes” tab to the file properties dialog. You can choose which hash value to be computed, including Adler32 / CRC32 / HAVAL / MD2 / MD4 / MD5 / REPEMD-128 / REPEMD-256 / REPEMD-320 / SHA-1 / SHA-256 / SHA-384 / SHA-512 / Tiger / Whirlpool. The MD5 / SHA1 hash value are often used to verify the integrity and authenticity of a file.
